About TN AHEAD

Tennessee AHEAD is truly one-of-a-kind in the state, and we are proud to represent nearly all public and private colleges and universities in Tennessee, along with the Colleges of Applied Technology. Our network consists of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to ensure college and university life is accessible for all students. While many of our members are directly involved in disability services at colleges and universities, our community also includes deans, professors, counselors, and other leaders within higher education institutions.

Our mission is to provide professional support and development to post-secondary disability service providers in the state of Tennessee and to other individuals and organizations who are committed to the principles of equal access and opportunity for all qualified student with disabilities to become full participants in higher education and in society at large. We strive to create and promote opportunities that will drive meaningful change, benefiting postsecondary students with disabilities across the state.
